The new-look Digg has just been launched and the site is now accepting new registrations once again.

New features include integration with your account on Google, Twitter and Facebook and the ability to “follow” users – hmm, sounds familiar.

I registered a new account there this morning, first thing I noticed was that, as I said, you are now encouraged to follow users, and, as part of the setup, you can choose the follow certain accounts ranging from mainstream publications like Time, Newsweek and The Economist and other news media organizations like BBC and CNN to big name blogs like Mashable and Lifehacker.

Another feature which I’m fairly sure wasn’t in the original is the ability to import a feed to auto-Digg content. Going to test that out myself and see how it goes. One cool idea that comes to mind would be to have your various blogs and other feeds coming all meshed into one Yahoo Pipes feed then import that into Digg for multiple Diggy goodness!
